Extrapolation of causal effects in medical statistics
Welcome to the newsletter “Count the living”. Initially, this newsletter will cover my attempts to convince the medical statistics community that Mindel C. Sheps’ approach to choice of effect measure (from her 1958 paper “Shall we count the living or the dead?”) is correct and has important implications for clinical decision making.
All posts will be open-access for at least the first year. Voluntary contributions to a documentary movie about this project are welcome via GoFundMe or using Dogecoin (DPZNaH8zCiVAm7irRvAL9gX9ij2uuw3RGk)
